“For what is the use of his table being full of golden cups while he perishes with hunger? First, fill him who is hungry, and then abundantly deck out his table also.”

-John Chrysostom

  • The St Paul Thrift Store is currently closed for building maintenance. We are working to re-open the store as soon as possible.

The Thrift Store offers gently used clothing and housewares at reasonable prices from friendly people. Proceeds from the store go back to the ministries of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Child Development Center. See us to shop, to donate, or to volunteer.

The thrift store is located in the historic school building. It is just east of the church parking lot at the corner of Roseborough and Kinney.

  • In this world, there are people who are less fortunate than us. For this reason, we have established a food pantry to help our fellow brothers and sisters with their immediate needs.

Those in need can come to the church on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to receive gifts of nonperishable food items donated by our congregation and surrounding business and community leaders.

The Lord continues to provide for us in this ministry, but we are always in need of help. To donate, you may bring items to church on Sunday or drop them by the office during normal office hours.

  • For more than 30 years, St. Paul Child Development Center has been helping children thrive. The secret to our success is the combination of our dedicated, caring staff and the high standards of NAEYC accreditation. The result is a loving atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else in San Antonio. We invite you to come see the center and learn more.

  • Laundry Love is a movement across the country that seeks to serve low-income families and individuals by paying for their laundry. We have been blessed enough to partner with them and serve a local laundry mat. For more information, please contact our office.

  • The Noble Task Cohort is an effort to raise young leaders to serve the church.

  • The CARE program helps expecting and new parents with free parenting classes, lactation and breastfeeding support, counseling and other resources for healthy pregnancies and infant care.
