April 9th Event - WEE CARE FIESTA FUN WALK

WEE CARE FIESTA FUN WALK – APRIL 9
Please join us for a Walk of Care and become a supporter of St Paul Lutheran Child Development Center. Our St. Paul CDC serves many families in the community in Jesus’ name, including parents and children with special needs. The walk will be a round trip from St. Paul to Mission Concepción and back. Participants are encouraged to enlist the support of as many sponsors as you can for whatever amount of donation they are willing to make. Bring donations with you to the walk. Receive free treats and red balloons as you place the donations in the Wee Care Box. You don’t have to walk if you would rather not, just come and join in the fun and have
refreshments. Your support is needed and appreciated!!

PRAYER VIGIL: A SPECIAL TIME IN THE LORD’S PRESENCE

On Friday, April 8, 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. we will hold a five-hour Prayer Vigil at St. Paul. Come anytime during those hours to spend time in prayer in the quiet atmosphere of the church (with soft background music). This is a wonderful opportunity to “be still” in the Lord’s presence and also an important time of prayer ministry for the many we are praying for. You will be given a list of prayer requests that have been turned in plus some scripture passages to focus on. And, of course, you are invited to add your own prayer requests and thanksgivings! Through prayer the Lord involves us in what He is doing! PRAYER REQUESTS for the vigil can be placed in the box at the rear of the church or in the church office. You may also call Lucy at the church office if you have a prayer request. You can sign up to participate in the prayer vigil by putting your name on one of the sheets on the bulletin board in the entrance of the church... OR JUST COME! For more information see Rosemary Bernal, Susie Roberts, Jack Staples, or Pastor Carlos. Please participate in this important ministry opportunity if you can... YOU, also, will be blessed!

Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday March 13th. On Saturday evening, make sure to move your clocks forward one hour. That means we will be losing an hour. However, if you plan carefully you will not lose too much sleep.
