On Friday, April 8, 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. we will hold a five-hour Prayer Vigil at St. Paul. Come anytime during those hours to spend time in prayer in the quiet atmosphere of the church (with soft background music). This is a wonderful opportunity to “be still” in the Lord’s presence and also an important time of prayer ministry for the many we are praying for. You will be given a list of prayer requests that have been turned in plus some scripture passages to focus on. And, of course, you are invited to add your own prayer requests and thanksgivings! Through prayer the Lord involves us in what He is doing! PRAYER REQUESTS for the vigil can be placed in the box at the rear of the church or in the church office. You may also call Lucy at the church office if you have a prayer request. You can sign up to participate in the prayer vigil by putting your name on one of the sheets on the bulletin board in the entrance of the church... OR JUST COME! For more information see Rosemary Bernal, Susie Roberts, Jack Staples, or Pastor Carlos. Please participate in this important ministry opportunity if you can... YOU, also, will be blessed!

Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time begins this Sunday March 13th. On Saturday evening, make sure to move your clocks forward one hour. That means we will be losing an hour. However, if you plan carefully you will not lose too much sleep.

Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday!

Ash Wednesday is the Wednesday! It is the first day of the special season of Lent in which we focus on Jesus sacrificial love for us. We will have worship opportunities at both 11:00 in the morning and 7:30 at night, with a light supper at 6:15 PM in the fellowship room. Our child Development Center children will be involved in the briefer morning service. Ashes will be used in both services. The evening service will include Holy Communion and will be somewhat bilingual. The 6:15 supper will be soups, salads, and sandwiches. All are invited! [Note: During this season of Lent we will have an additional informal midweek worship opportunity following a light supper on Wednesday, March 23… so mark your calendar! And don’t forget out Prayer Vigil on Friday, April 8.]
