CAN-DO Mission Trips

St. Paul is blessed to be part of two mission trips to Mexico each year. Our bilingual pastor leads groups of high school college youth and adults from our congregation and other congregations across the country, on week-long trips to Mexico, where we work with children holding Vacation Bible School for the youth in the community and help with construction and projects.

2012 Mission Trip Opportunities

College Spring Break Mission Trip, scheduled for March 10-17, is for interested college-age or older adults and will involve serving people in Alpine and also the small ranching town of Candelaria in the mountains of West Texas. The week ends at Camp Eagle near Rocksprings for  two days of spiritual retreat in a beautiful hill country setting. This is a wonderful opportunity to get away from your normal routine, make a difference in people’s lives,  make new friends, grow in your relationship with the Lord, and form a clearer perspective of life! See Pastor Carlos for more information. There will also be participants from Austin and Texas A&M.

Our Summer Mission Trip, for high school through adults, will be held the week of July 7 - 14. It will also be held in the mountain region of West Texas, especially in Alpine and Candelaria, where we went for the first time last summer. It is a great place to be, to serve, and to grow!  Just ask all of us who went last year!! We will be both working with children and doing physical projects. The last day of that trip also will be some place in the West Texas mountains for spiritual retreat. Participants are asked to pay at least $100 of the total trip cost. Now is the time to be signing up!
